Acid Wash:
Pool water should be drained every 4-5 years to help maintain and prolong the life of the plaster. The total dissolved solids in the water build-up over time with the use of pool chemicals and can be damaging to both the tile and the plaster. When performing an acid wash, we first drain the pool water with a submersible pump. Muriatic acid solution is then poured over the plaster to whiten, remove stains and dissolve calcium deposits. In addition, the plaster smoothness can be maintained over a longer period of time. We then re-fill the pool and add any necessary start-up chemicals such as alkalinity plus and cyanuric acid (conditioner). The cost of this service starts at $450.
Equipment Upgrades:
We can do full equipment upgrades from system automation to new heaters, pumps, motors and pool cleaners. Upgrading your pool motor can save a lot of money on your electricity bills when installing the energy-efficient models.
Filter Cleaning:
Maintaining your filter and cleaning it on a regular basis is essential to the condition of your pool water. This should be done at least once a week or every 30 days depending on pool usage and other factors that contribute to the cleanliness of the water.
Light repair:
If you have a light that is not working in the pool or spa we will come and troubleshoot the problem. In most cases, only the light bulb and gasket need to be replaced.
Mastic (expansion gap) replacement:
If you notice the mastic or expansion gap starting to crack or fall apart, then it is time to have it replaced. This will insure that no water is getting behind the walls of your pool. You want to keep it water tight to avoid soggy dirt beneath or around the pool. There are a variety of colors available to match your deck. Pool Cleaner Replacement/Repair:

Pool Draining/Chlorine Wash:
In bad cases of algae blooms, the pool water should be drained and chlorine washed to kill all the algae that has grown on and stained the plaster. If you’re having a problem with bleaching out or brushing the algae off the plaster, then it is usually time to have the pool chlorine washed. This service starts at $400.
Plumbing/Repairing leaks: We can repair any plumbing leaks above ground, including replacing all types of valves. Having leaks repaired quickly is good practice because it can cause more damage if left alone. Frizty Pools does detect and repair pipes underground.Let us know.
Weekly Pool/Spa Service:
This includes testing for and adding necessary chemicals, emptying all baskets, skimming the water surface, brushing the walls, and vacuuming the pool and spa. Filter cleans are performed regularly and pool conditioner is the only chemical that you are charged for on a regular basis. This is generally added twice per year or whenever it is required.
